Gay and looking for a good place to raise your kids? You might want to consider Texas. It may sound crazy, but a study in The Gay and Lesbian Atlas concludes that San Antonio, a major Texas city, has the largest amount of queer couples with kids in America.

Gay Student Viciously Attacked By Teen Thugs
A gay high school student was beaten so badly by three teens that he needed reconstructive face surgery and may have permanent damage. He still is so frightened for his safety that police will not release his name. Three suspects have been arrested, two 18 year olds and a 17 year old. They are charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.
